If you are only in Tanzania for a short amount of time, or are not quite ready to tackle the summit of Africa's largest mountain, then African Love Birds Adventure can arrange for you to do the first day of the hike up Mt Kilimanjaro. After reaching the gates at Marangu, you will hike for approximately 3-4 hours to the first lodges, 2,700 meters from the base of the mountain.
Here you will take a break for lunch while also having the opportunity to take in the stunning wildlife that surrounds you, before starting your descent. You will be accompanied by a qualified and licensed guide, ready to answer all your questions, while pointing out things of interest along the way.
